Our mission is to recover and help others achieve recovery.
During our program’s 19-year history, we have seen hundreds of people who have maintained lasting recovery. We promote the concept that a person’s success is directly influenced by how much he or she puts into their own Recovery.
here’s how we serve
We offer direct accountability through mentoring, online support groups, and weekly recovery meetings.
Even if you are not local to Florida, you can still attend meetings online and stay connected with your mentor online/over the phone. Many of our mentors live in different states but still successfully mentor remotely.
We never charge anyone for our services as mentors. This program was freely given to us and that is how we pass it along to others. Each mentor has a vested interest in a mentee’s success, because we realize our own, personal Recovery Journey is strengthened when we practice the principles and share them with others.
Every person’s journey is their own responsibility, but we are here to help. We cannot force someone to accept or maintain their journey, but we can guide and encourage you along the path.
Our mission
New Found Family is a fellowship of men and women who seek to share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problems and assist others in recovery.
The only requirement for membership is a desire to recover!
New Found Family is not allied with any denomination, politics, or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy or debates. Our primary purpose is to recover and to help others achieve recovery.
Some of the people that we serve include but are not limited to; adults, teenagers, deaf or hard of hearing, entrepreneurs, parents, caregivers, people in broken relationships, widows, survivors of crime, survivors of sexual abuse, survivors of domestic violence, veterans, those suffering from PTSD, anxiety, depression, anger, fears, mental health, those struggling with chemical dependency, addiction, drug abuse, emotional issues, financial distress, relational crisis, marital issues and many more unhealthy patterns of living…
